Icy Ice has seen the insides of some of the globe's hottest and exclusive club venues from Japan and the Philippines to Canada and Mexico to Europe and Australia—but as an original member of the World Famous Beat Junkies, a radio personality & entrepreneur there's only a handful of things better than spinning in his hometown of Los Angeles.
In 2001 he opened the first of his three STACKS (stacksvinyl.com) retail record stores in Cerritos, CA. He followed up with two more locations—one in San Diego; the other in Ontario, CA. It was named “LA’s Best Hip Hop Record Store” by LA Weekly in 2004. He’s also started successful record pool services Global Record Pool & ExclusiveGrooves.com (an MP3 pool that makes it easier for DJs to attain the hottest cuts digitally).
Icy Ice’s achievements include six years of mixing for 100.3 The BEAT, three years for 93.5 KDAY. Now his nationally syndicated mixes can be heard on over 300 stations through the Superadio Network—Movin 93.9 is honored to have him LIVE every Friday morning at from 9:30 to 10am for Rick Dees' "Rick's Mix"!
